“We said to each other as if we were living in a fairytale when we arrived at the Salsomaggiore golf course. After a warm welcome from the staff (compliments), we received an upgrade of our room. 'A room with a view' with a beautiful view over the golf course. The golf course itself is a challenging, varied course with height differences. The golf club also has a good golf shop. We enjoyed it very much. We will definitely come back here!”

Beautifully located course in the hills near Piacenza. Reception fine and welcoming. Beautiful challenging holes, fine greens. Too bad the high green of 14 was closed due to maintenance (one of the most beautiful holes?). Everything showed that the course is carefully maintained. (translated from the Dutch language)

The course in my opinion is always very beautiful, technical and challenging. Very difficult to make a good score, especially on the second nine. I found the greens a bit ruined while the fairway was of good quality despite the heavy rain of the previous days. A special mention for the secretary who treated me really well. It remains a course I always return to with great pleasure.

I return to review this course again after a couple of years to report a marked improvement in terms of course maintenance. Excellent bermuda fairways and fast, even greens. Pleasant course to play, with lots of doglegs and several ups and downs but not too physically demanding. Excellent restaurant, I recommend the classic tortelli alle erbette di Parma. Incredible hospitality and really welcoming clubhouse atmosphere, a characteristic I have always found coming to this course.

Hilly course, one of the toughest ever played... first 9 holes difficult, second ones are slightly better... good maintenance and facilities.
