Croara Country Club

The course is situated in a hilly area that benefits from the temperate climate of the nearby Liguria region.

Set amidst a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes, the Croara Country Club is partially located on the alluvial deposits of the Trebbia River and partly nestled in the hills of the first Apennine foothills. This unique positioning provides a variety of panoramic views and playing conditions. The result is an 18-hole course that is highly technical, with fairways that are moderately narrow, bordered by oaks, chestnuts, poplars, black locust trees, and the captivating scenery along the riverbanks. The course has already been consecrated by a high-level international event, such as the first Women’s Italian Open. At our Clubhouse, you can find a Bistro where you can savor traditional dishes and delightful specialties.

TECHNICAL DETAILS: 18 holes, par 72, 6,065 meters in length, with the first nine inaugurated in 1975 according to Buratti’s design, and the second nine opened in 1983 based on plans by Croze and Lo Cascio.

Beautifully located course in the hills near Piacenza. Reception fine and welcoming. Beautiful challenging holes, fine greens. Too bad the high green of 14 was closed due to maintenance (one of the most beautiful holes?). Everything showed that the course is carefully maintained. (translated from the Dutch language)

Great parkland course with two different nines. Unfortunately one green was closed but all in all a gem of a course especially for that prize!
